    Chem help!!!!

    Post by Redwan on Sat Oct 30, 2010 11:05 am

    1. How would you synthesise chromyl chloride (CrO2Cl2)? What precautions might you take? Is it likely to be a liquid or a solid at ordinary temperatures, and what is its likely colour?

    2.CaF2 has a Ksp = 3.8*10^-11 at 25C. What is the [F-] in a saturated solution of CaF2 at 25C?

    3.E = 0.93 V for the reaction Fe(s) + 2M+(aq) >> Fe2+(aq) + 2M(s). The standard reduction potential is -0.41 V for the reaction Fe2+(aq) + 2M(s) >> Fe(s). What is the standard potential for M+ + e- >> M?

    4. CuCNS+KIO3+HCl --> HCN+CuSO4+ICl+H2O+KCl . Balance this equation

    there 16 more questions but i got them. i dont understand these four.
    I hate my science teacher. Help me. Thank you.
    8th grade sucks.

    Dude, this is AP Chem stuff. There's a problem if he's teaching you this. I asked a friend in Honors Chem and she didn't know at all. The balancing part is easy though, but that's all I would know.
