Post by GunMan on Mon Oct 11, 2010 4:25 pm

I need to proof that maximizing the following:

    E(J) = (-1/A)e^-A(Ew-(A/2)varW)
    is the same as maximizing
    E(W)-(A/2)var(W)

    Anybody can help me?
