    this is my fav Q of all time... it really tests ur ability yo apply maths rather than just the number crunching... and do both parts a and b
    (a is literally plugging numbers in a formula, b needs da brains Wink )

    Spoiler:



    A ball is dropped from a height of 10 m. It bounces to a height of 7m and continues to bounce. Subsequent heights to which it bounces follow a geometric sequence. Find out
    a) How high it will bounce after the fourth bounce.
    b) The total distance travelled until it hits the ground for the sixth time


    Formula u might need:

    >> nth term =a(r^n-1)

    >> Sum of geometric series = [a(1-r^n)]/[1-r]

    where a= the first term in the series and r= the common difference
